Everything you need to know about The CoS Signal.
What is The CoS Signal?
The CoS Signal is a weekly newsletter for Chiefs of Staff and senior operators who want to use AI practically, not theoretically. Each issue delivers one real use case, one ready-to-use prompt, one filtered signal from the AI space, and one vetted resource. No hype. No homework.
Who is this for?
Chiefs of Staff at beginner to intermediate AI experience levels. If you are time-strapped, skeptical of hype, and tired of AI content that reads like a tech blog, this is for you. Also a good fit for aspiring CoS and senior operators who want to build AI fluency without becoming AI researchers.
How often does it publish?
Weekly, every Thursday.
What do free subscribers get?
Access to select issues and the occasional resource drop. Enough to know if this is worth your inbox space.
What do paid subscribers get?
Full access to every issue, the prompt library, monthly diagnostic drops, and the founding member roundtables (while those are running). Plus, you can reply and actually get a response.
Can I try a few free editions before I go paid?
Yes. Subscribe free, read a few issues, and upgrade when it makes sense. No pressure sequence, no countdown timer.
What is the monthly diagnostic drop?
Once a month, paid subscribers get a short diagnostic tool built specifically for CoS work. Think of it as a structured prompt or framework you can run on a real situation in your role. Not a concept. An actual thing you can use the same week you get it.
What is the prompt library?
A growing collection of prompts built for CoS-specific situations: executive briefings, stakeholder updates, pre-meeting prep, process documentation, and more. Each prompt is formatted for copy-paste and tested to return useful output, not generic filler.
How much does the paid tier cost?
Standard membership is $29/month.
What is the Founding Member Offer?
The first 26 paid subscribers lock in $19/month permanently. That price never changes as long as the membership stays active. Once those 26 spots are gone, they are gone.
Who is Stephanie Lewis-Bennett?
Stephanie is a fractional Chief of Staff, founder of AI Empowered CoS, and a Fellow at the Chief of Staff Roundtable. She has spent the last several years working with founders and executive teams as a fractional operator, and she built this newsletter because the AI resources available to CoS professionals were either too basic or too technical to be useful. She writes from what she actually does with clients, not from theory.
Why a newsletter specifically?
Because the CoS role moves fast and the AI space moves faster. A newsletter forces a filter. Every issue has to earn its place in your inbox. If it is not immediately useful to someone running at the pace of this role, it does not go out.
Can I reply to the newsletter?
Yes. Paid subscribers get a real response. Free subscribers may hear back, but no promises.
Do paid subscribers get access to past editions?
Yes. Full archive access comes with a paid membership.
What are the roundtables?
Small, informal conversations for Founding Members. Not a webinar. Not a course. A peer conversation with a focused question and people who do this work. Details go out directly to Founding Members.
Do you offer advisory or consulting services?
AI Empowered CoS is a content and resource brand. For fractional CoS engagements and operator-level advisory work, visit Adnova Group.
I have a question that is not on this list.
Reply to any issue or use the contact form on the site. If enough people ask the same thing, it becomes the next FAQ entry.
The thinking and words here are mine. I used AI to pressure-test the ideas before I hit post.
